SAE30 4 Stroke Oil are high performance, high alkalinity diesel engine oils for medium and high-speed trunk piston diesel engines burning residual fuels with a maximum sulfur content up to 4%.

Product features:

  • Taro® 30 DP is a moderately high alkaline reserve (30 Base Number) trunk piston engine oil (TPEO) designed for use in high specific output medium speed trunk piston engines burning residual fuels (up to 4.0% sulfur).
  • Taro® 30 DP is particularly suited to high load factor operations in marine or stationary service and where
    heavy residual fuels with high asphaltene content

Taro 30 DP has very good viscosity control when used in severe high-temperature service and its excellent alkalinity retention characteristics prevent corrosive wear over long periods of operation.

The unique detergent and dispersant additive system promotes outstanding piston cleanliness as well as superb heavy fuel-related contaminants handling characteristics. This helps reduce both “hot” (piston lands and grooves, piston under-crown, purifier preheaters) and “cold” (crankcase, cambox, rocker area, fuel pumps, purifier bowl) deposits.
