Hydraulic Oil 68

Hydraulic 68 is a premium-grade mineral-based hydraulic oil with additives to provide excellent protection against rust, oxidation, wear, while still meeting ISO standards for hydraulic oil. Additionally, it contains an effective anti-foam additive to control foam and facilitates the rapid release of entrained air, therefore maximizing hydraulic system efficiency.

This hydraulic oil is blended to ISO 68 viscosity grade requirements and is suitable for use in a wide range of mobile and static hydraulic equipment including forklifts, excavators, lifts, presses, injection moulders, etc, where the use of an ISO 68 grade hydraulic oil is specified. Super Edge Hydraulic Oils ensure excellent filterability with hydrolytic and demulsibility stability

Applications

Application areas include industrial, forestry, and marine, and particularly mobile equipment. This can include wastewater treatment plants, reservoirs, waterways, parkland, tunnel drilling, forest machines, dredgers, river sluices, and harvesting machines, etc. On the ship, applications could include bow thrusters, propeller systems, and deck machinery.

Features and Benefits

  • Anti-wear- Super Edge Hydraulic Oil ensures an added protection where inherently high pressures, power densities, and temperatures are experienced with high horsepower under moderate to severe conditions.
  • Low air retention/air entrainment
  • Anti Foam- additive ensures any entrained air will quickly separate from the
fluids so that wear-producing metal-to-metal contact is avoided.
  • High aniline- Hydraulic Oils ensure excellent compatibility with synthetic rubbers, providing extended life to seals.
  • Good thermal stability and resistance to oxidation
  • Excellent water demulsibility–  Avoids deposit formation and filter plugging for enhanced equipment reliability
  • High viscosity index and low pour point- Allows a wide operating temperature range
